West Hem Roll Cover Art Contest

The theme of our next issue is culture and community. To further reflect this, we want the community to help design our cover. We want your art to grace the front of our next issue. We don’t care if it’s a rad photo you have, an oil painting, charcoal drawing, or illustrated graphic. We want to see what you think represents the skate scene and the skateboard culture you’re apart of.

Submission for the art piece MUST meet all of the following requirements:

• 300 DPI minimum – 400DPI preferred
• CMYK
• Format: Tiff, JPG, PSD, PDF, or AI accepted
• File name MUST be:
  firstname_lastname_emailname_at_email_com.filetype
  (ie. peter_griffin_familyguy_at_gmail_com.tif)
• 8.5″ x 11″ trim
• 8.75″ x 11.25″ bleed
• 100% YOUR work
• Optional: You can include the West Hem Roll masthead if you like, or submit just your art.

• Your art as a page in the magazine
• Your art featured on the site
• A poster of your art

3rd Place Winner will get:

• Your art featured on the site
• Subscription to West Hem Roll

How winners will be chosen:
We will pick the top 7 submissions and allow all of you to choose your favorite piece from the selections.
Winners will be notified July 27th.
Winners will be announced with the release of the next issue of West Hem Roll in September.
